Rick Eaves from ABC Radio Tasmania joined me in the Scriptorium last Tuesday (24th May 2016) to talk about Ghosts Royal. When travelling all over the UK to record interviews for Radio Hallam (a commercial station in Sheffield, UK) I used to carry a very heavy reel-to-reel tape recorder. Rick, as you can see, is just holding a microphone, an all-in-one recorder. Himself would say “God bless Moore’s Law”. Personally, I miss the romance of hearing the wheels buzzing and the tape roaring across the heads but progress is progress.
